Corporate Trade: a 30,000 ft view

Barter is an age-old practice used as a means to do more with less.

Corporate trade has engineered the basic principles of barter in a way that makes sense for Fortune 1000  businesses.  In its simplest form, corporate trade enables businesses to use their assets as payment for business expenses.

1. A business trades in their assets (i.e. excess inventory) at full value in return for a bank of trade credits.
2. The trade credits are spent over time to lower the cost on common business expenses, most notably media.
